Terms and conditions

    Bookings may be made by face to face, e-mail or telephone. By booking a course with Epilepsy explained it is assumed that you        accept these Terms and Conditions.


    Payment should be made within 28 days of the training. Certification will not be sent until payment has been received.

    Use of temporary training video during COVID 19 only- means that you understand and agree that this is a temporary measure and       will not replace face to face clinical training as recommended by ESNA Guidelines.

  • Epilepsy explained reserves the right to alter or cancel dates if there is unforeseen sickness or exceptional circumstances, but will endeavor to give as much notice as possible. In the event of a cancellation Epilepsy explained will transfer the booking to the next mutually agreed date or provide an alternative trainer to run the training day. If the booking is cancelled by the client the following fees will be payable.​


  • More than two weeks , but less than 4 weeks - 50% of fee will be paid by client unless new mutually convenient date negotiated. 

  • Less than two weeks- 75% of fee will be paid by client unless new mutually convenient date negotiated.             

  • Less than one week- 100% of fee will be paid by client unless new mutually convenient date negotiated.     

  • If delegates do not attend the training day and Epilepsy explained has not been informed then the full course fee remains payable.

  • If you arrive late for a course, or are absent from any session, we reserve the right to refuse to accept you for training if we feel you will gain insufficient knowledge or skill in the time remaining.  In all such cases, the full course fee remains payable.


  • If the course is to be held in your own premises please ensure that there is sufficient space for the lesson to be conducted, bearing in mind practical demonstration and participation is required.  Parking and accommodation as necessary ( see fee section) . If you are unsure please contact us for advice.

  • Liability: All training and advice given by Epilepsy explained is provided by following guidelines provided by the appropriate councils. Joint epilepsy council, NICE and SIGN guidelines in Epilepsy.   • Course Materials and Copyright: The cost of the session includes all materials supplied during the session.  Epilepsy explained is the copyright owner of all course materials with the exception of materials clearly published by third parties.  Epilepsy explained copyright materials may only be used by the person attending the course for their personal use.
